About Us

Matthew's Crossing helps people find new strength. The opportunities we offer give hope to many, provide solutions to overwhelming problems, and create powerful results in our community. We provide assistance for individuals and families in need in the East Valley. Each month we feed more than 5,500 people. Most of our clients are working families. They are employed full-time or part-time, and yet still are in need of supplemental food. We also serve people between jobs, those on fixed incomes, seniors, people with disabilities, and homeless clients.

Our Mission

Uniting our community in the fight against hunger by providing food and basic necessities to our neighbors in need.

Matthew's Crossing is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We provide assistance for individuals and families in need in the East Valley area - currently addressing needs associated with hunger.

Under the Arizona Qualifying Chariable Organizations Tax Credit households have the opportunity to reduce their direct tax liability up to $800 when they give back to qualifying non-profits in the community. When you make a charitable contribution to Matthew’s Crossing, a working poor charitable organization, you may be eligible to receive dollar-for-dollar tax credits in the amount of your contribution (up to $400 for single people and $800 for married couples).
